Can the Smartbox/Media Streamer stream to a set-top-box device like a Roku, Fire TV, Chromecast, or a gaming system like Playstation or Xbox?

Maybe.  Such setups are not part of the design.  We make no apps for any of these devices.  But it may be possible if the particular set-top-box or gaming system in question has a web browser that can play the media files you have stored on the Smartbox/Media Streamer.

Try these steps:

  1. Adjust the WiFi settings of your set-top-box or gaming system to connect to the Smartbox/Media Streamer.
  2. Use the web browser of your set-top-box or gaming system to point to the IP address of the Smartbox/Media Streamer, which is usually 192.168.1.2.
  3. Use the web interface to navigate to the desired media file on the Smartbox/Media Streamer and click on that file.

The web browser on your set-top-box or gaming system must support the particular media format of the file you wish to play.
